Take-Two Sues Microsoft and Discord to Unmask GTA 6 Leakers
Take-Two Interactive is taking drastic measures to identify and prosecute those behind the recent Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 leaks. The US publisher has filed a request with a federal court in New York, asking Microsoft and Discord to provide documents that could help them track down the leakers.
The request, which was obtained by Kotaku, seeks information such as IP addresses used by the leakers, email addresses, phone numbers, and any OneDrive cloud storage spaces they may have utilized to share stolen GTA 6 material.
Take-Two is asking Microsoft and Discord to comply with the request by September 4. It remains to be seen whether the court will grant permission for Take-Two's lawyers to proceed with their investigation.
