Tarom Takes Flight with First Boeing 737 MAX Delivery

Romania's national airline Tarom has taken an important step in modernizing its fleet. The company announced that it had successfully completed the first test flight of a Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which will be delivered to Tarom at the end of August.

The second 737 MAX is set to arrive in early September, with two more scheduled for delivery in the spring of next year. This marks a significant milestone for Tarom as it continues to upgrade its fleet and improve services.

Interim Transport Minister Radu Miruță has expressed confidence in Tarom's viability, stating that he will notify the European Commission about the airline's situation and attempt to persuade decision-makers at the EU level of Tarom's potential.
