Taste America Returns to Houston with James Beard Award-Winning Chefs

The James Beard Foundation is bringing its Taste America culinary series back to Houston this fall. The event, which celebrates local food scenes across 20 U.S. cities, will feature a walk-around tasting experience showcasing some of the city's most exciting independent restaurants and culinary talent.

Hosted by Evelyn Garcia and Henry Lu of Jūn and Third Place, both James Beard Award Semifinalists, the event will take place on November 12 at 6 p.m. at Thompson Houston. The evening will offer a chance to discover new flavors, connect with Houston's food community, and celebrate the independent restaurants that make the city one of the most dynamic dining destinations in the country.

Guests will enjoy more than 10 food and beverage stations featuring signature bites, specialty drinks, and exclusive sponsor experiences. The event is presented by American Express and Resy, with tickets available now for food enthusiasts looking to experience an unforgettable evening filled with award-winning talent and creative dishes.
