Tata Boeing Hits Milestone as India Ramps Up Apache Production
Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited, a joint venture between Boeing and Tata Advanced Systems Limited, has reached a significant milestone in its Hyderabad facility. The company rolled out the 400th fuselage for the AH-64E Apache attack helicopter on September 7.
The fuselages are manufactured in India and integrated into final Apache aircraft supplied worldwide, including to the US Army and the six Apaches delivered to the Indian Army in 2025. This milestone reflects both the maturity of India's aerospace manufacturing ecosystem and its integration into global defence supply chains.
Tata Boeing Aerospace employs over 750 engineers and technicians who use advanced robotics, automation, and aerospace manufacturing technologies to produce Apache fuselage aerostructures. With more than 1,300 aircraft in operation across 19 countries, the fleet is continuing to expand.
