Taylorcraft BC-12D Takes Flight in Microsoft Simulator

The Microsoft Flight Simulator team has released the Taylorcraft BC-12D, a new flagship aircraft developed by Got Friends. The Taylorcraft is the culmination of everything the team has learned in Microsoft Flight Simulator and is a love letter to the platform that started this journey.

According to the developers, they wanted the Taylorcraft to feel alive, so they worked directly with experienced Taylorcraft pilots, derived flight models from real-world performance data, and captured authentic sound recordings from real aircraft. The result is an aircraft model with incredible detail, personality, and craftsmanship.

The Taylorcraft has four realized variants, each designed for different environments: Classic, Backcountry, Winter, and Seafarer. Each variant includes dedicated equipment, engine configurations, physics, and operating characteristics.
