TBAL Hits 400th Milestone in Indian Defence Export Push
Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL) has marked a significant milestone in India's growing role as a major manufacturing hub for global defence exports. On September 7, 2026, the company rolled out its 400th fuselage for the AH-64E Apache attack helicopter from its facility in Hyderabad.
The AH-64E Apache is an advanced aircraft used by the Indian military, known for its capabilities in armed reconnaissance and anti-armour operations. Currently, India operates a total of 28 Apache helicopters, with the Indian Air Force flying 22 of these aircraft and the Indian Army operating six.
TBAL's Hyderabad facility employs over 750 engineers and technicians who use advanced robotics and modern aerospace automation technologies to craft the aerostructures. This milestone highlights TBAL's production momentum, as it previously delivered its 300th Apache fuselage in February 2025.
