TBAL Rolls Out 400th Apache Fuselage in Hyderabad
Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL), a joint venture between Boeing and Tata Advanced Systems Limited, has achieved a significant milestone by producing its 400th AH-64E Apache helicopter fuselage in Hyderabad. This achievement underscores India's growing maturity in aerospace manufacturing and its integration into global defence supply chains.
Established in 2016, TBAL employs over 750 engineers and technicians who utilize advanced robotics for production. The company's state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad covers an area of 52,000 square meters.
The Indian-made fuselages are supplied globally, including to the US Army and the Indian Army. The AH-64E Apache is one of the world's most advanced and proven attack helicopters, with approximately 1,300 aircraft currently in operation with 19 countries and counting.
