Teams Gear Up for Epic Boeing 737 Pull at Bournemouth Airport
On August 31, three teams will gather at Bournemouth Airport for the Dorset Plane Pull charity event. Their mission? To pull a massive Boeing 737 weighing 35,000kg over 50 metres.
The event aims to raise £3,000 to support local mental health services provided by Dorset Mind. The organization offers peer support group sessions, wellbeing programmes, and community connections for those struggling with their mental health.
Teams Durable UK and Manutan, ActionCOACH, and CrossFit Durnovaria have each assembled up to 20 people to take on the challenge. Emma Murgatroyd from Dorset Mind said, 'It's amazing to see local businesses and community organisations coming together for such a memorable challenge.'
The funds raised will directly support Dorset Mind's mental health services, giving individuals access to vital support and resources.
