Teams Gets New Feature to Temporarily Pause Notifications
Microsoft is rolling out a new feature to its Teams platform that allows users to temporarily pause notifications for a set period of time. This feature will be available across all versions of Teams and can be accessed through the profile menu in the upper-right corner.
The new capability gives users greater control over interruptions, helps reduce notification overload, and enables focused work, meetings, and other activities without requiring changes to existing notification settings.
This feature is similar to the 'Focus' mode in Windows 11 but is specific to Teams. It's unclear if pausing notifications will sync across all devices or if it will be on a per-instance basis.
