Teams Mobile Users Must Update by Oct 1 to Keep Calendars
Microsoft Teams users on mobile devices will soon lose access to the Calendar feature unless they update their app. This change affects only the iOS and Android apps, not the browser or desktop versions of Teams.
The calendar functionality will be lost for those who fail to update by October 1st. This is according to a support note posted on Microsoft's website, which cited compatibility issues with ongoing Teams service updates as the reason for this change.
Microsoft did not provide further details on why the Calendar feature would be shut off for non-updated apps, but TechRadar speculated that it may be related to the upcoming end-of-life for Microsoft's Exchange Web Services system.
