Tech Data Expands IBM Distribution Across Asia Pacific
Tech Data has expanded its distribution footprint for IBM across Asia Pacific, adding six new markets to its existing operations in four countries. The expansion brings Tech Data's specialized IBM practice to ten markets in the region, including Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, and the Philippines.
The move is part of TD SYNNEX's broader expansion of its IBM distribution relationship across Asia Pacific, Europe, and Latin America, covering 20 new countries globally. This means partners in Asia Pacific will have broader access to IBM products and services through Tech Data's regional channel network.
Select Blue, a joint initiative with IBM, is also being rolled out to the newly added markets. This program aims to help partners build repeatable practices in areas such as artificial intelligence, data, and automation, providing enablement, financing, pre-sales, and go-to-market support.
