Tech Giants Reinvent Themselves for AI-Fueled Comeback
Major tech companies like Nokia and Ericsson have reinvented themselves to stay relevant in today's fast-paced technology landscape.
Nokia, once the world's biggest mobile phone maker, has shifted its focus from consumer hardware to telecom and networking infrastructure. Today, it makes most of its money selling equipment that connects servers, data centers, and AI chips.
BlackBerry, another notable example, stopped making its own phones in 2016 but has since transformed into a profitable enterprise and embedded software company. Its shares have gained more than 100% over the past year.
IBM, which helped popularize the personal computer, exited PCs two decades ago and now centers its business around enterprise software, hybrid cloud, AI, and high-end computing.
