Last week saw significant developments in the tech sector, particularly in AI and semiconductor manufacturing. President Trump's announcement that Apple would collaborate with Intel on U.S.-based chip development and production boosted investor optimism around Intel, which gained nearly 5%.

Meanwhile, RUM Group completed its acquisition of Northern Data and launched its Quake AI platform, expanding its exposure to large-scale computing resources powered by Nvidia graphics processors.

The transportation sector also made progress with Uber Technologies expanding its robotaxi collaboration with WeRide into Switzerland, while Tesla received support from a Texas transportation official for its autonomous vehicle ambitions. Ondas announced its sixth acquisition of the year, agreeing to buy Cyberhawk for about $125 million, further expanding its presence in drone inspections and AI-driven analytics.
