Tech Stocks Rebound Strongly Amid Inflation Report and Lower Oil Prices
Yesterday, tech stocks rebounded strongly after four consecutive losing sessions. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.98%, closing at 52,573.29. The Nasdaq Composite Index also gained 0.96% to 26,395.11.
The recovery was driven by a combination of factors, including a largely in-line inflation report and lower oil prices. Tech companies such as Dell, HP Enterprise, Apple, and others contributed to the rally.
Nvidia's potential investment in Anthropic's IPO is also making headlines. The company is reportedly considering investing up to $10 billion in the AI firm, which could raise nearly $100 billion at a valuation of $2 trillion.
