Ternus Awaits: Apple Unveils Foldable iPhone Amid Stock Surge
Apple is poised to unveil its first foldable iPhone at an event on Wednesday, marking one of its most closely watched product launches in years. The company's stock has surged since late June, with shares up about 15% and adding roughly $570 billion in market value.
The new CEO, John Ternus, who took over from Tim Cook on September 1, will be under the spotlight as he delivers Apple's latest innovations. Ternus joined Apple in 2001 and has overseen hardware engineering across various products, including the iPhone, Mac, iPad, and Apple Watch.
The foldable model is expected to start at between $2,300 and $2,500, with Morgan Stanley analysts predicting Apple could ship around 6.5 million units during its fiscal first quarter ending in December, generating approximately $14 billion in sales.
