Apple's stock closed at $325.13 on Tuesday, up 2.6% despite the wider market pullback.
The rally came as Apple completed its first CEO transition in 15 years with John Ternus taking over from Tim Cook.
Ternus, a 25-year Apple veteran and former head of hardware engineering, officially became CEO on Tuesday.
