Ternus Set for $73M Apple Pay Package
Apple's new chief executive John Ternus is set to receive a compensation package worth around US$73 million in fiscal 2027. This includes an annual base salary of US$3 million and a stock grant with a target value of US$55 million that year.
Ternus' equity award will be based on Apple's performance compared to the S&P 500, with three-quarters of the value tied to this metric. The remaining 25% will vest semi-annually over time.
Former CEO Tim Cook is taking on a new role as executive chairman, with an annual salary reduced from US$3 million to US$2 million and a target stock package worth around US$45 million in 2027.
