Tesla Bulls Face Reality Check from Investor Gary Black
Gary Black, an investor and commentator on social media, has spoken out against what he sees as overly optimistic predictions for Tesla's future. In a series of tweets, Black likened the behavior of Tesla bulls to college students doing 'tequila shots', saying it's not justified by any real evidence.
'Bulls are again whooping it up as if TSLA has alone solved for unsupervised autonomy and the Cybercab now drives itself at 99.999% efficacy,' Black tweeted, echoing his concern that Tesla investors are overestimating the company's prospects.
Black believes that while Tesla will be among the first to achieve unsupervised autonomy, it won't happen through its own efforts alone. He predicts that Alphabet Inc., Baidu Inc., and Amazon.com Inc. will also make significant progress in this area.
