Thai Boeing 737 MAX Planes Exempt from FAA Inspection Directive

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has confirmed that an airworthiness directive issued by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) does not affect the 12 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft based in Thailand. The FAA ordered structural investigations of the forward right-hand service door frames of certain models after cracks were found on some planes operated by other countries.

According to the CAAT, the 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8 planes in Thailand are not part of the list targeted by the FAA for extra checks. This means that these planes can continue their operations without additional examinations, as stated by the CAAT.
