Thailand Cuts Visa-Free Stay Limit for Singaporeans
Singaporeans entering Thailand from September 15 will be eligible for visa-free stays of up to 30 days, down from the current 60 days.
This change was announced by Thailand's Interior Ministry via a notification in the Royal Gazette on August 31.
The new measure applies to passport holders from 60 countries and territories, including Singapore, who can enter Thailand visa-free for tourism and stay for up to 30 days.
The revision replaces the 60-day visa exemption scheme introduced on July 15, 2024, which allowed eligible travellers to enter the country visa-free for tourism, work, and short-term business activities for up to 60 days.
