Boeing has collaborated with the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) to deploy its Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) Learning Library across flight training organisations throughout Thailand.

This marks a significant milestone as it is the first time a regulator has implemented the CBTA Learning Library across an entire ecosystem, setting a new model for other Asian and global regulators to follow.

The system-wide adoption of Boeing's CBTA solution by CAAT aims to address Southeast Asia's projected demand for 66,000 new pilots over the next 20 years, as forecasted by Boeing's Commercial Market Outlook.

Boeing's CBTA Learning Library focuses on developing pilots with both technical and behavioural competencies required for modern airline operations, in line with internationally recognised CBTA principles.
