Thailand has set out requirements for Indian tourists planning to visit under its visa exemption facility. From September 15, 2026, Indians with ordinary passports can stay up to 30 days without a visa.

To qualify, travellers must have a passport valid for at least six months from their arrival date and confirmed return tickets. They also need hotel bookings and clear travel plans.

Visitors must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card within 72 hours before arriving through the official website. Each member of a travelling group must carry required documents individually.

The advisory warns Indians with job offers in Thailand not to use the visa exemption facility, while passengers transiting through Thailand need relevant documents for their final destination, including an appropriate visa if needed.
