Thailand Warned to Prepare for Quantum Threat Amid Growing Cyber Risk

Thailand's National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) and IBM Thailand are warning organizations to prepare for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) due to the growing risk of 'harvest now, decrypt later' attacks.

The threat is emerging as quantum computers become more powerful, allowing hackers to crack traditional encryption methods used in online transactions and data storage.

According to the NCSA and IBM Thailand, organizations need to prioritize which critical infrastructure should be upgraded first due to limited budgets.
