The Home Depot Brings First Location to Southern Maryland
St. John Properties has announced that The Home Depot will be opening its first location in Southern Maryland at Lexington Exchange, a 140-acre mixed-use business community in California, Maryland.
The retailer plans to occupy a 13.52-acre parcel and join an expanding lineup of businesses, including ALDI, Royal Farms, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and RC Theatres.
According to Andrew Roud, St. John Properties' regional partner for Southern Maryland, 'The Home Depot is one of the nation's most respected and recognizable retail brands, and we are proud that it has selected Lexington Exchange for its first Southern Maryland location.'
The arrival of The Home Depot will bring an influx of new full- and part-time jobs to the area, creating a direct and lasting economic impact on St. Mary's County.
