The Valuable 500 Expands Disability Inclusion Network to South Korea

The Valuable 500, a global business initiative that promotes disability inclusion, is expanding its presence in South Korea. This move marks the next step in The Valuable 500's expansion across the Asia-Pacific region, where it has been following the momentum of innovation emerging since hosting SYNC25, Asia's first Accountability Summit, in Tokyo in December 2025.

The Valuable 500 is a global coalition of companies that aims to advance disability inclusion by removing barriers and ending exclusion. The initiative was launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2019 by social entrepreneur Caroline Casey. Today, it has grown into a network of over 500 companies and organizations across 41 countries and 64 sectors, representing approximately 22 million employees.

The Valuable 500's Iconic Partners include global companies such as Apple, Google, and Salesforce, which play a leadership role in shaping the initiative's strategic direction and advancing global standards for disability inclusion. The organization approaches disability inclusion not just as a matter of corporate social responsibility but as an issue of business leadership and competitiveness.

The expansion into South Korea is led by Jeon Yu-mi, Regional Executive Director (APAC), who oversees corporate engagement and the development of The Valuable 500's network across the region. Jeon believes that Korean companies have already made meaningful achievements in disability inclusion and now need to take these achievements beyond the domestic market to become part of Korea's leadership on the global business stage.
