Theme Parks Get Spooky as Fall and Halloween Season Take Over
As summer draws to a close, theme parks across the country are shifting their focus to fall and Halloween season. One of the most popular events is Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights, which will take place at Universal Studios Hollywood on select nights from September 3 through November 1.
The event features haunted houses with themes like Stranger Things, Sinners, and Hellraiser, as well as scares, treats, and extended evening hours. The event runs from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. each night.
Other theme parks are also getting in on the spooky fun, including Disney's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World and Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland Resort. Both events run through October 31.
Busch Gardens is offering its Howl-O-Scream event, which features haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment, and thrill rides. Six Flags parks are also getting in on the action with over 400 Halloween-themed experiences, including Fright Fest, Halloween Haunt, Knott's Scary Farm, and more.
Dollywood is celebrating the season with its annual Dollywood Harvest Festival, which runs from September 14 to October 31. The event features live music, fall treats, and the Great Pumpkin LumiNights.
