Thomson Reuters and DocuSign Slump Amid Google's Latest AI Push

Google's latest AI release has sent shockwaves through the software sector. The tech giant announced Gemini Enterprise for Legal, an enterprise AI platform designed specifically for law firms and corporate legal teams.

The platform can connect with legal data and workflow systems and use AI agents for tasks including research, document analysis, and contract-related work.

Shares of Thomson Reuters Corp., which has a significant presence in the legal services business through its properties Westlaw, Practical Law, and CoCounsel, fell 4% on Tuesday.

DocuSign, which provides software for electronic signatures and managing digital agreements and contracts, saw its shares drop 3.2%.
