TikTok Videos Coming to Disney+: Streamers Unite in 'First-of-Its-Kind' Deal
The entertainment giant Disney and tech platform TikTok have inked a deal to share content between their streaming platforms. This 'first-of-its-kind' agreement will allow TikTok videos from Disney fans to live on both platforms, with creators gaining access to Disney assets.
'The best storytellers are fans first,' said Asad Ayaz, chief marketing and brand officer for Disney. The partnership aims to provide increased visibility and career development pathways for top creators.
The deal will 'turbocharge' Disney's Verts offering, which allows vertical video content. This type of content has become a priority for streamers, as consumers increasingly watch videos on their phones.
