Tim Cook Hands Over Reins to John Ternus at Apple

Tim Cook marked his last day as Apple CEO by expressing 'lots of love' to the Apple community on X. He stated that while his title changes tomorrow, his affection for the company will remain unchanged.

Cook's departure makes way for John Ternus, who has been with Apple for 25 years, to take over as the new CEO. The transition plan is similar to Jeff Bezos' handoff to Andy Jassy at Amazon.

Cook will continue to be involved in the company as executive chairman, helping Ternus navigate challenges such as AI and talent retention.
