Tinubu Assures Investors as Coca-Cola Reaffirms Nigeria Investment Plan
Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured investors that his administration is working to make Nigeria's business environment more predictable, competitive, and supportive of investment.
Tinubu made this assurance during a ceremony at the Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC), where the Coca-Cola System reaffirmed its $1 billion investment plan in Nigeria over five years.
The investment plan was first announced by the Coca-Cola System in 2024, with the company stating that it would depend on a predictable and enabling business environment. The company has since expanded its operations, including the commissioning of three new production lines at its Asejire and Challawa plants in 2026.
Tinubu's administration is addressing challenges affecting businesses, including infrastructure, power, regulations, ports, logistics, foreign exchange, and taxation, as part of efforts to strengthen domestic production and attract further investment.
