Tinubu Welcomes Coca-Cola System's Proposed $1 Billion Investment in Nigeria
Nigeria's President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has welcomed the proposed $1 billion investment by the Coca-Cola System in the country over five years. The president described the commitment as a vote of confidence in Nigeria's economy and long-term prospects.
Tinubu, who spoke at the 75th anniversary event of the Nigerian Bottling Company Limited, assured local and international investors that Nigeria remains open for business. He said the government is working to make its investment climate more predictable and competitive.
The president identified reliable power and infrastructure, clear and consistent regulations, efficient ports and logistics, access to foreign exchange, and a tax system that encourages productive enterprise as critical requirements for attracting and retaining investment.
