Nigeria remains open for business, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu assured local and international investors on Monday in Abuja at the 75th anniversary of the Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC). He welcomed the Coca-Cola System's proposed $1 billion investment in Nigeria over five years, describing it as a vote of confidence in the country's economy.

Tinubu emphasized that his administration is working to make the business environment more predictable, competitive, and supportive of investment. He identified reliable power, infrastructure, clear regulations, efficient ports and logistics, access to foreign exchange, and a tax system that encourages productive enterprise as critical requirements for attracting investments.

The President commended NBC for its commitment to human capital development through its Supply Chain Academy, which has trained over 1,400 young people since its establishment in 1996. He urged businesses and policymakers to increase local content and develop Nigerian companies into dependable suppliers to major manufacturers.
