Tokyo Disney Resort Ends Fireworks Shutdown with One-Night Spectacle
Tokyo Disney Resort is ending its months-long fireworks shutdown. The Sky Full of Colors show will return on September 15, bringing back a five-minute fireworks display with Disney music and colorful pyrotechnics to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
The hiatus began in June after the last performance on June 15, leaving guests without the standard fireworks spectacular for three months. However, unlike past seasonal pauses, this time there's an unusual twist: a new Halloween-themed fireworks presentation called Night High Halloween will take over immediately after the Sky Full of Colors show ends.
The change means that fireworks fans visiting Tokyo Disney Resort in late September and October will still get to enjoy nighttime entertainment, but it will be under the new theme. Reach for the Stars, another nighttime spectacular at Cinderella Castle, is also coming to an end on September 14, with a special farewell edition featuring a drone display.
