Tokyo Disney's $628M Tomorrowland Overhaul Includes Wreck-It Ralph Ride
Tokyo Disney Resort is transforming its Tomorrowland area into an immersive experience that includes two new attractions, shops, and restaurants. One of these attractions is called Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue, which will be based on Disney's animated movie Wreck-It Ralph.
The ride is set to debut in the spring of 2027 and will allow guests to enter the candy-themed racing game from the movie 'Sugar Rush'. They will team up with Ralph and Vanellope to save the game from being destroyed by Sugar Bugs, which are glitches created by King Candy.
Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue is designed to have a similar interactive gaming experience as Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. It will also introduce new technology to Tokyo Disney Resort for an interactive storytelling experience that is unique to Disney theme parks.
