Toontown Online Festivals Bring Disney Fans Together

The first-ever ToonFest took place on August 26, 2006, at Walt Disney Studios in California. The event was a celebration of Disney's 'Toontown Online,' a massively multiplayer online game. A sold-out crowd of 1,500 fans attended the festival, where they participated in activities such as an in-game scavenger hunt, racing at Goofy's Speedway, and a costume contest. Developer Q&A sessions and sneak peek panels were also part of the event.

Among the special guests was Kyle Massey from 'That's So Raven.' The event was so well-received that a second ToonFest was held in Florida in 2007.
