Tower of Terror Refurbishment Adds Scaffolding and Gray Paint

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios is undergoing exterior refurbishment. Scaffolding has been added to the top and side of the tower, with a significant portion of the facade now covered.

Crews began installing scaffolding on the far right of the facade above the gift shop in early July. The project started earlier this month, with workers repainting parts of the facade above the gift shop and adding gray paint to the balcony and chimney stack.

The ride remains open despite the refurbishment work, with gaps in the scaffolding allowing guests to view during the attraction without obstruction.
