Travelers Companies Surges as Institutional Investors Boost Stakes

Glenview Trust Co has invested in The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE:TRV) by purchasing 5,117 shares valued at $1,689,000 during the second quarter.

This is not an isolated incident; several other institutional investors have also increased their stakes in TRV. HHM Wealth Advisors LLC boosted its position by 145.7% in the first quarter, while Osterweis Capital Management Inc. raised its stake by a whopping 1,820.0%.

The insurance provider has reported strong earnings, with $10.04 per share exceeding analysts' expectations of $5.41. The company's revenue for the quarter was $12.15 billion, up .3% from the same period last year.
