Trex Taps Ex-Sherwin-Williams Executive for Top Commercial Post
Trex, a Winchester-based manufacturer of wood-alternative decking and railing, has appointed Brian J. Taylor as its inaugural chief commercial officer.
Taylor will oversee sales, marketing, and information technology in his new role, which is expected to drive growth through enhanced customer experience and revenue increase.
Trex President and CEO Adam Zambanini said the company sees significant opportunity for alignment of commercial capabilities and growth through an integrated approach. He praised Taylor's varied experience leading sales, marketing, and digital transformation teams as a key qualification for the position.
Taylor previously worked at Poolcorp and The Sherwin-Williams Co., where he held leadership positions across sales and marketing. His background in driving profitable growth and developing high-performing teams provides confidence that he will lead execution and create long-term value for stakeholders, according to Zambanini.
