A crypto user claimed on X that he lost his life savings after clicking on a phishing website disguised as Trezor's official page in Google search results.

The victim, who posts under the handle @ReallyBadDay99, said he searched for 'Trezor wallet' and saw a sponsored result that led him to a fake Trezor website hosted on Google Sites. The page requested his wallet recovery information, which would have allowed attackers to steal his funds.

Trezor reported an increase in phishing websites impersonating the company, with some appearing in sponsored search results. The company warned users not to enter their wallet backups on suspicious pages and to verify that they are visiting the official website before downloading Trezor Suite or sharing information connected to their wallets.
