Trillion-Dollar AI Infrastructure Cycle Gains Momentum

The AI infrastructure cycle is gaining momentum as top tech companies ramp up spending on computing capacity, networking, and power. Alphabet has increased its capital expenditure forecast to $195-$205 billion for 2026, while Microsoft plans to triple its data center footprint to about 38 gigawatts by 2032.

NVIDIA, Arista Networks, and Vertiv are poised to benefit from this trend as they provide critical components of the AI infrastructure buildout. NVIDIA remains the most direct beneficiary of accelerating AI investment, with second-quarter 2027 data center revenues growing 117% year over year.

Arista Networks provides a complementary way to benefit from AI capex as rising compute density increases demand for high-speed networking. Vertiv offers exposure to power and thermal management, which is becoming increasingly important as AI data centers require greater power density and cooling capacity.
