Tripura Partners with Salesforce to Boost Digital Skills
Agartala's government has partnered with Salesforce to expand access to digital skills and strengthen workforce readiness across Tripura. The initiative, announced at the Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026 in Agartala, uses Trailhead, Salesforce's online learning platform.
The programme aims to reach more than 10,000 learners by 2027, covering practical and future-ready skills such as customer relationship management (CRM), business analysis, technology fundamentals, and other digital skills.
Salesforce will provide online orientation resources to help participants understand and use the Trailhead platform, while DIT will identify potential participants through government departments, educational institutions, and skill development agencies.
Kiran Gitte, IAS, Secretary, Information Technology, Government of Tripura, said, 'Our partnership with Salesforce marks a key milestone in Tripura's digital journey. With strong policy foundations already in place, this collaboration will equip our students, government workforce, and entrepreneurs with future-ready digital skills.'
Arundhati Bhattacharya, President and CEO, Salesforce, South Asia, said, 'India's next wave of digital growth will be shaped by talent in every part of the country. Tripura's focus on building skills alongside digital infrastructure is essential to making that growth inclusive.'
