President Donald Trump downplayed an unusual incident involving Air Force One on Wednesday at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. The Qatari-gifted Boeing 7487, which serves as the presidential aircraft, deployed its inflatable emergency slide while President Trump remained aboard Marine One.

The slide was extended from the right-side front door of the plane, which is opposite to the entrance typically used by the president. This unusual deployment caught attention, and questions arose about whether it was a routine safety check or an actual emergency.

When asked if the plane was safe to fly, President Trump responded confidently, 'I am, or I wouldn't be on it.'
