Trump Heads to Doonbeg for The Amgen Irish Open
US President Donald Trump is set to visit his Doonbeg resort in West Clare next month, where he will host The Amgen Irish Open.
A two-day visit is planned, with a significant security presence expected in the area. Trump is scheduled to arrive in Ireland on September 12th and will likely land at Shannon Airport.
During his trip, Trump will also attend events in Dublin, including a meeting with An Taoiseach Micheál Martin, their first since St Patrick's Day in the White House.
The Amgen Irish Open is set to take place from September 11th to 13th, and Trump is expected to be in attendance for the finale on the 13th. The resort has been a major employer in the area, with up to 305 staff members during peak season.
