US President Donald Trump has expressed his discontent over the soaring profits of oil giants ExxonMobil Holdings Corp and Chevron Corp during the ongoing war in Iran. Speaking at the White House, Trump stated that these companies are 'making too much money' and urged them to cut retail petrol prices.

'I don't like it,' he said. 'I should be the last one to say because I'm a big free enterprise guy, nobody bigger.'

Trump emphasized his stance on the issue despite being a strong advocate for free market principles. He called upon these companies to give back some of their profits to the public.

The President's comments come as oil prices have surged due to the conflict in Iran, which he launched in February alongside Israel.
