Trump Welcomes Bangladesh's Boeing Purchase, Looks Forward to Meeting Prime Minister

United States President Donald Trump has expressed his appreciation for Bangladesh's decision to purchase Boeing aircraft. In a letter to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Trump stated that he looked forward to meeting him in the not too distant future.

The purchase deal amounts to $3.7 billion and includes the supply of 14 Boeings to Biman between 2031 and 2035. Bangladesh's Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat had earlier announced that the country would be buying aircraft from US company Boeing.

Trump's letter also mentioned that he believes under Prime Minister Rahman's leadership, the people of Bangladesh will have a very bright future.
