Trump's Doomsday Plane Touches Down in Suffolk During Ireland Visit
US President Donald Trump's visit to Ireland was marked by several notable events over the weekend. The president met with Ireland's president and prime minister, but this was not part of an official state visit.
The Doomsday plane, also known as the E4B Nightwatch, landed at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk early on Saturday morning. This plane follows the US president on overseas visits but goes to a different location than Air Force One, the plane carrying him.
During his trip, Trump made a surprise announcement that he was removing US tariffs on Irish whiskey as he brought his two-day visit to Ireland to a close. Crowds cheered the US President as he made the announcement on the 18th green during the prizewinning ceremony at the Amgen Irish Open at his Doonbeg golf resort in Co Clare.
