Trustifi Bolsters Microsoft 365 Security with Collaboration Shield

Trustifi has expanded its Microsoft 365 security capabilities to include threat detection, data-loss prevention, and incident investigation across Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

The company's new Collaboration Shield platform applies Trustifi's security and compliance features to collaboration workloads, where employees increasingly exchange sensitive files and business information outside traditional email environments.

According to Zach Schwartz, vice president of business development at Trustifi, 'email is only one component' of the attack surface. Cybercriminals can compromise an account and spread malware through collaboration tools like SharePoint.

The Collaboration Shield platform supports over 70 built-in sensitivity categories and maps detections to compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS, CCPA, FERPA, and GLBA. It also provides a centralized console for managing policies, detections, and remediation across multiple customer tenants.
