TSMC Surpasses Apple as Preferred Investment Choice

Apple and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC) have been partners for years, with Apple designing chips that TSMC manufactures.

The latest collaboration is the A20 Pro chip in the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone Duo, which uses TSMC's 2-nanometer manufacturing process, a significant improvement over the previous 3nm generation.

This upgrade allows for more transistors in a smaller space, enhancing performance while reducing energy consumption.

However, Apple faces challenges in artificial intelligence (AI), where its initiatives have yet to live up to expectations.

In contrast, TSMC's revenue growth is expected to outpace Apple's next year, with analysts predicting a 43% expansion in New Taiwan dollars by 2026 and 34% in 2027.
