Turner Loses Out on Home Depot Gig to Fellow Josh

Country music star Josh Turner revealed in an interview that he auditioned for a Home Depot commercial but lost out to actor Josh Lucas.

Turner, known for his deep and recognizable voice, said he read for several big roles, including the Home Depot ad spot, but didn't get the job.

'I hate to say it, but the stupid Home Depot commercial that everybody hears every five minutes on every channel on TV, I read for that,' Turner said. 'But they decided to go with a different Josh and chose Josh Lucas.'
