Turner's Big Mistake: How Close He Came to Being Home Depot's Voice

Country music star Josh Turner revealed that he once auditioned for a Home Depot commercial but lost out to actor Josh Lucas, best known for his role as young John Dutton on Yellowstone.

Turner shared this tidbit during an interview on Taste of Country Nights when asked about any voiceover work he'd done.

'I hate to say it, but the stupid Home Depot commercial that everybody hears every five minutes on every channel on TV, I read for that,' Turner said. 'But they decided to go with a different Josh and chose Josh Lucas.'

Turner joked about not being bitter about missing out on the opportunity.
